Q1: What is the maximum thickness you can cut?
A: Laser cutting can handle 0.5mm-25mm thickness, CNC cutting can handle 2mm-50mm thickness. If you need to cut ultra-thick acrylic above 50mm, please contact us for evaluation.
Q2: What is the difference between laser cut and CNC cut edges?
A: Laser cut edges are flame-polished, transparent and glossy, no secondary treatment needed. CNC cut edges are flat and matte; if a transparent effect is required, we can perform additional flame polishing or wheel polishing.
Q3: What design file formats do you accept?
A: We accept vector file formats: AI, PDF, DXF, CDR, DWG. Raster files are also accepted, but high-resolution images are recommended for reference. DXF or AI formats are most recommended for precise dimensional reproduction.
Q4: What is the smallest hole you can cut?
A: Laser cutting minimum hole diameter is approximately the sheet thickness; for thickness within 3mm, 1mm holes are possible. CNC cutting minimum hole diameter is approximately 3mm (limited by tool diameter). Specifics depend on thickness and precision requirements.
Q5: Will there be burnt smell or yellowing after cutting?
A: Laser cutting acrylic produces a slight odor, which is normal and will dissipate after cutting. We optimize laser parameters and strictly control heat input to avoid edge yellowing. Additional cleaning process is available if required.
Q6: Can you do extra-large size cutting?
A: Our single machine maximum working size is 2000mm x 3000mm. If your尺寸 exceeds this range, we can achieve larger components through splicing processing.
Q7: How long does sampling take? What is the cost?
A: Standard samples can be completed in 1-3 days. Sampling fees are based on drawing complexity and material costs, refundable upon mass production order confirmation. Please send drawings for a quote.
